We received a wish from the Camden office of the Division of Child Protection & Placement Services regarding a grandmother and baby in desperate need.
There are so many grandparents these days forced to raise babies and children due to circumstances out of their control. Unfortunately, these aging grandparents struggle because they no longer have the income and strength needed for child rearing, yet they have no choice and that is why we love to grant wishes for these earth angels.
Aime explained in her wish that the child is 18 months old and lives with her grandmother in one room. Grandmother has been the sole caretaker of the baby since her teenage son dropped the baby off to her 18 months ago. Grandma is not employed at the moment and only receives assistance with food.
Grandmother has been struggling a lot economically in the last few months and needs so much for the baby and herself. Aime asked Bianca’s Kids for help with specific things. She wished for toys, baby clothes, diapers, baby toiletries, plastic drawers to organize baby items, a microwave, air fryer, a stroller and a car seat. Aime said that providing these items for grandma would really help relieve her of so much stress.
We are happy to report that we granted this wish for grandma and baby today and purchased everything on their wish list.
