Over the years many of our donors have said “we’d like to see you grant wishes for the poorest of the poor.” So, we set out to find the MOST UNDERPRIVILEGED children in the world that we could bless in a big way. After years of searching we landed on 10 families of children in Kenya.
There are tens of thousands of impoverished children in Kenya. The ones we set our sights on are also suffering from Jigger infestation. Jiggers are sand fleas that burrow under the skin, multiply and eat at their victims making it impossible to eat and sleep. These poor kids are sick, starving, hurting, totally impoverished and loaded with jiggers. They are shunned from peers, made fun of and most times have to drop out of school. They are turned away from hospitals in Kenya with no government support. They have no clothes, little food & water, no toys, furniture or even beds to sleep on. Some are abused, neglected, and often victims of abuse from older family member and villagers. No one deserves our help more these children.
A local organization in Kenya called the Rise Up Society is committed to ridding these kids of jiggers by traveling around Africa and cutting the Jiggers out the flesh by hand with mini blades and numbing cream.
Through Rise Up Society we are sponsoring 10 Kenyan families of children and changing their lives in many ways.
We will be posting videos and stories of each family’s wish grantings. The lives of these precious children are about to change thanks to you and Bianca’s Kids. It will touch your heart in ways you never imagined.
