Unless you’ve lived it you could never understand. When cancer hits a family, it hits hard and in every way possible. The Librizzi Family is going through it right now. Their beloved & hardworking wife & mother (of 3) was diagnosed with breast cancer some time ago. Mom has battled through treatment and now is dealing with a horrific complication to cancer that has left her extremely sick and essentially bedridden.
Cancer has had no mercy on the Librizzis. Their two family income has turned into one which alone can destroy the quality of their lives. On top of the physical and emotional havoc cancer has imposed on mom, dad & their 3 kids (their oldest is in college) the financial burdens are never ending. The monthly bills fall behind, kids have to be removed from extracurricular activities they love because they can’t afford them anymore & the medical costs (hospital bills, medications, home healthcare provider fees etc.)
We received a wish for this beautiful family from a friend named Sharon. Sharon has been working hard fundraising, organizing meal trains and finally, submitting a wish to Bianca’s Kids for the Librizzis. Everyone should have a friend like Sharon.
Today we granted Sharon’s wish for the Librizzi Family with a check for $5,000.00! They were all so grateful. We hope this money will help them breathe a little easier during this already difficult time. It takes a community to help a family hit with cancer and we are happy to be part of the community
