We recently received a wish from Catrina for her 14 year old daugther Kendra. Catrina wished for us to do something special for her girl. She explained that Kendra suffers from Pseudo Tumor Cerebri. This condition causes Kendra frequent and extremely painful and dibilitating migraines, vision loss and aura. However, while her condition drains her of her energy, somehow Kendra manages to maintain a 4.2 GPA and is in all honors classes. What a warrior!
Catrina’s wish was for a day of pampering for Kendra. Catrina felt that a day at a spa/salon to get pampered and pretty would be so beneficial to her daughter right now. So, we granted this wish by sending Kendra a check for her spa/salon day. Our hope is that this day at the spa/salon will help Kendra look pretty and forget her pain for at least a few hours.
