For many of today’s parents of kids with emotional issues, the new age of Covid is making life so much more difficult. Isolation is hard on everyone but for kids already struggling with depression & anxiety issues, it could be crippling and hard to adjust.
Such was the case for a mom named Lindsey. Lindsey reached out to us for help for her 8 year old boy Thomas.
Lindsey stated “I wish I could afford a chromebook for Thomas but since I lost my job of almost 20 years in September and got a surprise eviction from my apartment in November, money is not easy to come by and Thomas has been suffering from mood swings and anxiety.”
Lindsey felt that a Chrome Book would help keep Thomas busy and distracted when he feels a anxious or depressed. Such distractions are key during COVID.
