Dear BK,
My wish is for my son to have everything he needs for everyday life including school. He loves school so much and truly brings so much joy into his life. Abel started Kindergarten on 8/21/20 and I was not able to buy him a new backpack or lunch box or school clothes and shoes due to financial struggles. I am a single mother with one income. Abel’s father passed away 4/18/16 when Abel was only 9 months old by committing suicide. This has left us with severe emotional and financial struggles. Also, I have been off work for 5 weeks due to a hospitalization and recovery so we currently have no income. I went back to work on Monday 8/24/20. Abel struggles with emotional/social issues and has an IEP in school for developmental delay. He was born 8 weeks early and spent 1 month in the NICU. He has an incredible amount of strength and he is a very smart, sweet little boy with a strong personality. Abel is my everything and I wish I could provide these things to him right now but, unfortunately I am unable. Times are hard and we are doing our best. But, my son deserves more and nothing but the best. I have attached a photo of him on his first day of school on 8/21/20 and his finalized IEP (Individualized Educational Program) for this 20-21 school year showing he has a developmental delay.

Alexis, Abel is your everything as he should be. They say it takes a village right? So consider Bianca’s kids part of your village. We’ve purchased everything Abel needs for school and we are posting it in our next post. Everything should arrive to you by September 22nd.
